🤖 AI Analysis: How Our Machine Learning Models Really Work

Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, and LSTM Neural Networks in an ensemble for 23 lottery systems

"AI analysis" at LottoAnalyzer isn't a marketing buzzword — it's a concrete technical system built from three machine learning algorithms working together. In this article we open the hood and show you what actually happens when you request an AI prediction.

🌍 23 lottery systems, one shared AI architecture

AI analysis runs on the same principle across all supported lotteries — just with system-specific parameters (number of main numbers, value range, bonus numbers):

🧠 The 3 algorithms in the ensemble

Instead of relying on a single model, LottoAnalyzer combines three different machine learning approaches — each with its own strengths:

AlgorithmConfigurationStrength
🌲 Random Forest100 decision trees, max depth 20Robust against outliers, detects non-linear relationships
📈 Gradient Boosting100 estimators, learning rate 0.1, max depth 5Iteratively focuses on hard-to-predict patterns
🔮 LSTM Neural Network128+64 LSTM units, 20%/10% dropoutCaptures time sequences across 50 draws

🔍 Feature engineering: What the AI reads from the data

Before any training happens, meaningful features are calculated from the historical draw data:

  • Frequency analysis — how often each number appeared in the last 10 draws
  • Time gaps — days between consecutive draws
  • Statistical metrics — mean, standard deviation, minimum, maximum, and range of the latest draw

🎯 Ensemble voting: How the final prediction emerges

Weighted combination

Predictions from all three models aren't simply averaged — they're combined with weights:

✅ Default weighting:

LSTM: 50% · Random Forest: 25% · Gradient Boosting: 25%

The numbers that appear most often across all weighted model votes form the final ensemble prediction.

📊 Training data & minimum requirements

💡 Important prerequisite:

For the models to be trained reliably, at least 500 historical draws per lottery system are required. For systems with a shorter history or less frequent draws, training may take longer until enough data is available.

🔄 Weekly retraining

⏰ Every Thursday 03:30–06:00 (CET):

All AI models are automatically retrained with the latest draw results. During this window, there may be brief restrictions to the AI analysis feature — the rest of the platform is unaffected.

⚠️ What the AI can — and can't — do

Important note:

AI analysis detects statistical patterns in past data — but it cannot influence or predict the actual random draw of the next round. Every lottery draw remains independent of the previous one. The AI prediction is a data-driven tool for more informed play, not a guarantee of winning.

📋 Summary: AI analysis in 4 points

  1. 3 algorithms in the ensemble: Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, LSTM Neural Network
  2. 23 lottery systems run on the same architecture with system-specific parameters
  3. At least 500 historical draws needed, weekly retraining on Thursdays
  4. No win guarantee: pattern recognition in data, not influence over randomness
