From Italian Briscola to Chinese Mahjong – free to play now

Our minigames already covered Spanish classics (Brisca, Tute, Mus) and English card games (Hearts, Blackjack, Crazy Eights, Solitaire). Now we've added a typical game for five more languages — and built 10 complete games with full rulesets in the process. All are free to play, no login and no premium required.

💡 Why two per language?

English and Spanish already had several typical games — for the remaining five languages, we didn't want to do things by halves. So each language gets both a quick beginner trick-taking game and a more elaborate game with its own unique mechanic.

🏆 Highlights in Detail

🇮🇹 Scopa: Sweeping, not Trick-Taking

Instead of winning tricks, you swap a hand card for matching table cards (or combinations of them) — clear the table completely and you score a Scopa bonus. Final scoring covers four categories: most cards, most coins, Settebello (the coin 7), and Primiera.

🇨🇳 Dou Dizhu (斗地主): Combinations, not Single Cards

One player becomes the "Landlord" through a bidding phase and gets 3 extra cards — the other two implicitly team up against them. You play combinations like pairs, triplets, straights, and bombs that beat other combinations.

🇫🇷 Tarot: The Biggest New Game

78 cards, 4 players, a four-tier bidding phase (Petite through Garde Contre), and a hidden 6-card "Chien". You don't just win with the most points — victory depends on a target score based on the "bouts" (the three most valuable trumps) you hold.

🇨🇳 Mahjong: 136 Tiles, Full Ruleset

By far the most extensive of the 10 games: draw, discard, and call Pong (triplet), Kong (quad), or Chow (sequence) on discarded tiles. Win with 4 sets + 1 pair — scored with its own fan-point list (flush, all triplets, concealed win, and more).

🌍 Family Resemblances

Look closely and you'll spot relationships between the games: Briscola, Bisca, and the existing Brisca all belong to the same trump trick-taking family. Sueca and Belote share the same 4-seat partnership setup (2 vs. 2, partners sitting across from each other). And Tysiąc combines trick-taking with a bidding phase, similar to Tarot — just with 3 players instead of 4, and no Chien.
