The question "Would I have actually won with my numbers before?" isn't just answerable at LottoAnalyzer — it becomes a real analysis tool. The Premium feature "What If..." checks your number combinations retroactively against every single historical draw.
🎯 The basic principle in 4 steps
🎫 Up to 12 tickets at once
You can create up to 12 different tickets in parallel — each with the appropriate main numbers and bonus numbers for your chosen system (e.g. Lotto 6aus49: 6 numbers + 1 Super number, EuroJackpot: 5 numbers + 2 Euro numbers). This lets you check, for instance, all the combinations you've played over the years at once.
📅 Optional date range filter
You can limit the simulation to a specific time period (start and end date) or, by default, check the entire available draw history.
📊 What the results overview shows
| Metric | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draws checked | Number of historical draws simulated against |
| Total wins | Sum of all hits across all tickets and draws |
| Best win class | The highest win tier achieved in the whole simulation |
| Best ticket | Which of your up to 12 tickets performed best |
🏆 Detailed breakdown: Wins by class & per ticket
Beyond the overall summary, you also get:
- Wins by win class — how often you'd have hit each prize tier
- Ticket details — per ticket: numbers, bonus numbers, total wins, best win class, first win
- All winning hits chronologically — sorted by highest win class first, with date and exact draw
📄 PDF export for your records
The complete simulation result can be exported as a PDF — including system, period, all ticket statistics, and even an explanation of the win classes. Great for archiving results or sharing them with others.
🔒 Premium-exclusive feature
The "What If" simulation is a Premium feature and is protected server-side via get_current_premium_user.
⚠️ Important reality check
"What If" shows you retrospectively how your numbers would have performed in the past — this is pure history, not prediction. Whether a combination hit often in the past says nothing about whether it will in the future. Use the tool as an interesting look back, not as a forecasting instrument.
