South Korea's national lottery
Korea Lotto 6/45 launched on 7 December 2002 and was South Korea's first nationwide number lottery, operated by the Dongheng Lottery on behalf of the Korea Lottery Commission. In its early years, unlimited rollovers led to a record jackpot of around 40.7 billion won in 2003.
You choose 6 main numbers from 1 to 45. Additionally, a bonus number is drawn from the same pool (after the main numbers, so no overlap is possible). A ticket costs 1,000 won. Draws take place every Saturday at 20:35 (KST).
| Match | Prize |
|---|---|
| 6 matches | Jackpot (ab ca. ₩2 Mrd.) |
| 5 matches + Bonus | ~₩50.000.000 |
| 5 matches | ~₩1.500.000 |
| 4 matches | ₩50.000 (fix) |
| 3 matches | ₩5.000 (fix) |
